How It's Made

Tholu Bommalata , Leather Shadow Puppets of Andhra Pradesh is a traditional craft and performing art that has existed since 200BC. Its one of theoldest forms of Performing Arts in India. Traditionally, shadow puppets of epics like Ramayan and Mahabharat are made and stories narrated.
We work with artisans and craft communities accross India to design and create this educational kit. Each piece is carefully crafted and/or created by the artisans and put together in our workplace in Noida
